Finding your perfect match just got easier! Your perfect paint color match anyways! My sister had this fun shiplap wall in her bedroom, however, she was ready for a change. She knew that she wanted to paint it a color to compliment her rug, but was worried about finding the perfect match to tie them together. So, you can imagine our excitement when we found out about the Color Reader.

The Color Reader

The Color Reader is a tool that lets you match a paint color to any surface you have in your home. First, set the Color Reader along a surface, then simply use the corresponding app to see what paint colors are a match.

We set it right on the rug, and we hit the jackpot!

The Color Reader matched the rug to Sherwin Williams Grizzle Gray, which is the most beautiful gray/green color! The paint color not only compliments the rug, but helps tie the whole room together.

The moody accent wall pairs perfectly with the dark furniture and light accessories. Now my sister has the serene bedroom she’s been dreaming of. Minimal changes with maximum effect are just the kind of afternoon project that hits the spot and inspires me to work on more home projects!
